Fractional
Fundraisers
are
in
Demand!

You can be next.

Fast-track your path to becoming your own boss, making more money, working less, and helping small nonprofits raise money with a model that’s better for them than hiring in-house.

As Featured In:

  • Exhausted from all the overtime hours or “other duties as assigned” - seriously - they can’t pay you enough to clean out another storage cabinet!

  • Fed up constantly “apologizing” for being a fundraiser because people think it’s “icky” or a “necessary evil”

  • Done trying to prove your expertise to everyone because they don’t know or understanding fundraising - that’s right - we shouldn’t write a letter to Oprah or Drake

  • Demoralized because you’re banging your head against a glass ceiling where the only place you can earn more money is at the big institutions, but you want to work with the smaller, mission aligned organizations that get you excited

  • Trapped because you can’t see a clear way out of your job and can’t risk losing your benefits and income stability.

The burnout is real.

You love fundraising but you’re currently feeling:

Working in-house isn’t the only way to do good work and have stability.

You've spent years making magic happen in the nonprofit sector. Long hours, endless "other duties as assigned," raising money while being underpaid and overworked.

You're great at what you do - but the traditional in-house model isn't serving you anymore.

Here's the thing: Your fundraising expertise is worth more than a barely-competitive salary and burning yourself out for one organization.

As a Fractional Fundraiser, you can:

  • Earn over 6-figures/year with only 3 clients (no need to spend a dime on marketing or building a “personal brand”)

  • Have security and financial stability through 12-month contracts (that’s more job security than working in-house)

  • Get paid for your expertise (no more “other duties as assigned”)

  • Walk away from the burnout without walking away from the sector you love.

Whether you've raised thousands or millions, your 7+ years of experience can transform how small nonprofits fundraise - while transforming your career in the process.

And at the end of the day - you just want to do good work for good organizations.
Is that too much to ask?

The demand for Fundraising Consultants has never been higher - but are you ready to consult?

If You Have 7+ Years of Fundraising Experience Then You’re Ready to Make Six-Figures a Year as a Fractional Fundraiser!

Small nonprofits aren't looking for fundraising unicorns. They need experienced professionals who can bring structure, implement systems, and consistently do the work. Sound familiar? That's because it's exactly what you've been doing for years.

Whether you've raised $300,000 at a grassroots organization or millions at a major institution, your years of hands-on experience are exactly what these organizations need - and yes, that expertise is worth $4,000/month.

The semi-retired consultants we’re all familiar with have been gatekeeping the secrets to consulting success for too long.

Now it’s your time to transform your experience into a six-figure consultancy!

Fractional Fundraising allows you AND nonprofits to have your cake and eat it too.

You get to:

  • Make more money

  • Work fewer hours

  • Have time and location flexibility

  • Enjoy a community of “colleagues”

  • Have financial stability and predictability

  • Be in control of your own destiny

  • Choose who you get to work with

  • Have an impact on the organizations you love and care about

Nonprofits get to:

  • Hire someone with a skill set way above their budget

  • Have a fundraising plan developed and executed

  • Benefit from day-to-day implementation of their fundraising program

  • Have stability in their fundraising program

  • Worry less about fundraising

  • Raise more money

You need a plan and a proven path.

You can’t just walk away from the stability and security of your J.O.B. with all the risk and uncertainty of consulting.

Hey, I’m Cindy

I started offering Fractional Fundraising services through my business, The Good Partnership, back in 2017 and in 2021 switched from providing the service in-house to training other fundraisers on how to be Fractional Fundraisers.

I went from having 4 in-house staff to a network of almost 50 successful Fractional Fundraisers who are all succeeding in their businesses. But I’m not about gatekeeping this success. I see how happy and fulfilled this network is and I want that for others.

Got questions? I have answers.

Here are all the deets you need to know before you apply.

  • Fractional executives - fundraisers, Chief Marketing Officers, Chief Financial Officers - are experienced and skilled practitioners that offer hands-on implementation support to their clients. This allows the organization to take their budget further and get skilled and experienced support.

A Fractional Fundraiser would do much of the work of an in-house fundraiser at a small organization, but in a fraction of the time and usually better quality work.

The work you’d do as a Fractional Fundraiser starts with writing a fundraising plan and then moves to implementing that plan. I like to call it “Strategy to Stuffing Envelopes” because you get all the details done, but in a strategic way.

Typically the only limits we tell clients is that we don’t do big government grants or large scale events. That doesn’t mean we do unlimited work for organizations. We are focused on the work that is most aligned and that is in the strategic fundraising plan.

  • Such a good question. And the answer highlights the beauty of this model.

We’ve tested and determined that a full-time workload would involve working with about 3 Fractional Fundraising clients.

We train you to secure 12-month contracts with the option for renewal, so that you have stability and predictability in your business. This is what entrepreneurs dream of!

We recommend you charge each client at least $4,000/month, so your annual revenues would be $144,000 if you choose to work full time.

Of course, you can choose to work fewer hours or diversify your revenue with different types of clients - that’s the benefit of being in charge!

  • I get it - I’m a budget person, which is why I’m transparent about pricing and cash flow from the start. The Fractional Fundraiser Academy is $7,500 USD, which is payable upfront or monthly for 9 months at $835/month USD. There is also a 12-month payment plan at $625/month USD.

The monthly payment option is a payment plan, not a membership that can be cancelled. When you enroll, you commit to the full payment amount.

As soon as you get you’re first client, you will be cash-flow positive. This is also designed so that you can start as a side hustle and earn income while your’e doing business development.

I’ve done everything I can to reduce your risks!

  • You should be an experienced fundraiser with 10+ years of fundraising experience, or 5+ if you’ve been wearing all the hats fundraising in small nonprofits.

While we provide some resources and support around fundraising, that is a skill we expect you to already have.

  • The program is designed so that you can start doing business development quickly - within weeks. Of course, your success is largely a result of your efforts. We give you the tools to optimize that effort and benefit from our past success.

  • This is an ideal opportunity for you if:

    - You love fundraising strategy and implementation. You want to get hands-on and help organizations achieve real results.

    - You’re comfortable with a bit of risk. We’ve taken out as much risk as possible, but at the end of the day, you’re in charge of your success.

    - You work efficiently and effectively. You know that success comes from implementation, so done is better than perfect, but your experience allows you to do things well, or “near perfect”.

    - You’re a self-starter who works independently but values team and community.

    - You want to help small organizations who couldn’t afford to work with you otherwise.

  • Oh - so many reasons! Most small organizations don’t have an existing fundraiser in -house and when they look to hire someone, they only help they can afford is usually someone who needs lots of supervision. This actually adds to the challenges of the ED who is looking to take work off their plate, not add to it.

Plus, most in-house fundraisers in small shops spend a lot of time doing work that doesn’t move the needle. The work of a Fractional Fundraiser is targeted and efficient.

  • Your business. Your timeline. If you want to flow through the trainings, you can get your business set up within a week or two. If you want to ease into it, you can choose that too!

The online trainings are short and action-oriented, you don’t need more than an hour or so a week. We also have weekly office hours that you can attend.

Once you’re working with clients, I suggest 1 client for very part-time, flexible work; 2 clients for an easier workload and more free time; 3 clients for a full-time workload.

  • Through everything we do, we will advance equity, dignity and justice for all. We will strengthen communities and support meaningful opportunity, inclusion and wellbeing for people who face systemic barriers and stigma for any reason, including their race, gender, sexual orientation, economic status, ability and age.

Our community is a safe space but we understand that social justice is a learning journey and welcome you to identify and consider your own privilege and how it shows up in your work.
